Battle and Rollins Blaze the Way to Victory Lane at Hudson

Hudson, NH- Another beautiful afternoon was provided for racing action at the Original Family Fun Track this past weekend! Bobby Webber’s 350 Super Series came to town to wow the fans and was joined by the NELCAR Bandoleros, NELCAR Legends, 603 Mini Cup Series, and the Northeast Auto Imports Super Streets.

NELCAR Bandoleros showed us again that racing has a bright future as these youngsters rocketed around the high banks of Hudson. The 38 of Bryson Robidoux was the class of the field as he led from green to checker. Brody Wakefield in the 04 tried everything short of tying a rope to the back of Robidoux to catch him as Wakefield would have to settle for the 2nd spot. Parker Davis piloted his number 14 machine to a solid third place finish. For full official finish details check out NELCAR Tour on Facebook.

NELCAR Legends rolled in 20 cars strong; but it would be the 29 of Cole Robie that cruised his way to victory lane as he led all the laps. Jase Mongeon in the 19 finished in 2nd despite the continued pressure that he applied to Robie the entire race. Josh Parsons drove his 09 machine around Jacob Burns (13) on lap 23 to finish 3rd while Burns would be forced to settled for the 4th spot. Kyle Cassie ran a super clean race in his number 34 and was rewarded with a 5th place finish! For full official finish details check out NELCAR Tour on Facebook.

603 Mini Cup Racing Series made another visit to Hudson speedway this time with 15 cars in attendance. Former Hudson Speedway Six Shooter competitor Ryan Nelson piloted the 77 machine to victory lane. Crossing the line in 2nd was the 20 of Carl Rackliff and in 3rd was the 29NH of Hayden Kingsley. Northeast Auto Import Super Streets came to the track with some extra money on the line Thanks to Matt Bosowski adding money to the top 3. In addition to that money Nick and Bec from Bumpy’s Auto Service of Salem, NH added $300 to the payout. Super Street competitor Geoff Rollins added some money to the top 3 finishing spots with a condition if he finished in the top 3 the money, he added would go to the last place car. The race would be slowed before a lap could be completed as the 57 of Justin Beecher went for the spin cycle coming out of turn 2. Geoff Rollins would drive his 02 to the lead on the restart never looking back as he collected the win. Jimmy Renfrew driving the 98 car this weekend came home in 2nd. Beecher would start in the rear after spinning and getting a flat tire drove through the field to finish 3rd.

The Lil Webb 350 Super Modified Series used time trials to set their lineup and then had a chipped pulled for a full field invert. Mike Netishen in the 55 took the early lead. Netishen would lead until just after the halfway mark of the feature. While battling for the lead Netishen would spin out resulting in the caution to fly and having to restart in the rear. Jeffrey Battle in the 14 would assume the top spot. Battle would pull away from the field in a dominate fashion as he sailed to the victory. Netishen used a few restarts and hard racing to get back onto the podium after spinning to collect the 2nd spot. Joey Scanlon (5) used his front row starting spot to his full advantage as he held onto the 3rd place. For full details of the official finish check out Star Speedway Facebook page.
