High Stakes on Double or Nothing Night
Hudson, NH — June 23, 2025
Hudson Speedway turned up the intensity Sunday evening with Double or Nothing Night, where every lap mattered and every position counted twice in the standings. With double points on the line, the action across all divisions was fierce, and drivers pushed harder than ever to gain the upper hand in the early-season championship chase.
The Super Streets main event went to Andrew Morin (Nashua, NH), who stormed from sixth starting spot to claim the 25-lap feature victory and a huge double-points haul. Local standout Charles Baldwin (Hudson, NH) battled to second, with Corey Fanning (Mapleville, RI) grabbing the final podium spot. Chip Laquire (Franklin, NH) and Oscar LeClair Jr. (Hooksett, NH) rounded out the top five, while Keith Lavigne (Nashua, NH) earned the Heat 1 victory and Fanning took Heat 2 honors.
Joseph Fraser (Nottingham, NH) returned to victory lane, securing the Ridge Runners 25-lap feature after winning his heat earlier in the night. Gage Osborne (Plaistow, NH) impressed with a runner-up finish, while heat race winner Stone Slattery (Pelham, NH) claimed third. Trystin Bodwell (Sanford, ME) and Teagan Edson (Ashburnham, MA) completed the top five, with Brian Caswell (Buxton, ME) sidelined early.
The Six Shooters once again belonged to Michael Yeaton (Amherst, NH), who extended his early-season dominance with another sweep, winning both his heat and the 20-lap feature. Meghan Bell (Whately, MA) had her best run yet, finishing second after a Heat 1 win, while Garrett Barry (Whately, MA) crossed third. Ryan Partridge (Franklin, NH) and David Bell (Hatfield, MA) rounded out the top five. Mike Comtois (Pelham, NH) scored second in Heat 2 before settling for sixth in the feature.
In one of the night’s most competitive races, Chris Quin (Hudson, NH) powered his way to victory in the Pure Stocks 20-lap feature. Jason Townsend (Nashua, NH) charged forward to finish second, while Adrian Smith (Unity, NH) claimed third after also winning Heat 2. Shayla Kirk (Pepperell, MA) and Rich Tarr (Litchfield, NH) rounded out the top five. Quin also backed up his feature win with a Heat 1 victory, solidifying himself as one of the night’s biggest points earners.
The youngest racers at Hudson opened up the evening, with Patrick Russell (Dracut, MA) sweeping both the heat and 10-lap feature in the Thunder Lights division. Sophia Charbonnier-Marshall (Hudson, NH) kept close with a pair of runner-up finishes, while Emily McInnis (Hudson, NH) showed speed but suffered misfortune in the feature.
With double points on the line, Hudson Speedway’s championship battles saw major shakeups, with front-runners building momentum and newcomers thrusting themselves into contention. Fans were treated to an unforgettable night of high-stakes racing, proving why Double or Nothing Night is one of the most pivotal events on the calendar.
