Summer Ending Special Delivers Thrills at Hudson Speedway
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hudson Speedway – August 31, 2025
Hudson, NH – Fans packed into Hudson Speedway on Sunday afternoon to celebrate the Summer Ending Special, a tradition that closes out the summer racing season with action-packed feature events for every division. Drivers from across New England battled for glory under perfect racing weather, and the crowd was treated to side-by-side racing and dramatic finishes.
The Super Streets put on a 25-lap barnburner that saw Charles Baldwin charge from his seventh-place starting position to grab the win, capping off a stellar drive and delighting the Hudson crowd. Austin Erickson followed close behind in second after making up six positions, and Corey Fanning rounded out the podium with a consistent run to third. Charles Beal and Oscar LeClair Jr. completed the top five. Heat races went to Austin Flanagan and Baldwin, setting the tone for a competitive feature event.
The Ridge Runners saw another strong outing from Stone Slattery, who capitalized on a third-place start to take the checkered flag. Brian Caswell and Trystin Bodwell kept the pressure on but settled for second and third. Drew Morse and Scott Bernier rounded out the top five. Heat wins went to Jessica Bosowski and Bernier, but Bosowski’s car failed post-race inspection in the feature, tightening the points battle heading into the final weeks.
In the Six Shooters, Michael Casey continued his impressive season, powering to the win in the 20-lap feature. Mike Comtois crossed the line second after starting on the pole, with Randy Washburn third. Scotty Blanchard and Michael Yeaton completed the top five. Comtois also picked up the win in the heat race, giving him a strong points day as the season winds down.
Chris Quin scored another win in the Pure Stocks, taking control of the 20-lap feature and never looking back. Adrian Smith charged through the field to second, while Shayla Kirk posted an impressive third-place finish. Mackenzie Belisle and Mikayla Duval filled out the top five. Heat races went to Nicholas Woodside and Smith, but Quin’s consistency keeps him the driver to beat.
The Crown Vics feature saw Austin Erickson storm to victory, holding off a hard-charging Ben Bosowski, who climbed from 10th to second in one of the most exciting drives of the afternoon. Callie Osborne completed the podium in third. Scott Cestodio and Jessica Bosowski rounded out the top five. Heat race wins went to Cestodio and Keith Walton.
