Champions Crowned in Style on Championship Sunday at Hudson
HUDSON, NH - 9/17/2025 – The 2025 racing season at Hudson Speedway came to an electrifying conclusion on Sunday, September 14th, as fans packed the stands for Championship Sunday. A full card of racing action delivered close battles, dramatic finishes, and ultimately crowned the 2025 track champions across all divisions.
Charles Baldwin (#2) saved one of his best drives for last, charging from deep in the field to capture the 25-lap Super Street feature and clinch the 2025 division championship. John Morin (#30B) ran a strong second, while John Sousa (#8) completed the podium after an impressive drive from the back. Austin Flanagan (#28) and Oscar LeClair Jr. (#45) rounded out the top five. With the win, Baldwin locked up the title, finishing the season 32 points ahead of runner-up Corey Fanning (#11), who picked up a heat race win earlier in the afternoon.
It was another statement day for rookie sensation Stone Slattery (#99), who swept both his heat race and the 20-lap feature to close out a dominant 2025 season and secure the Ridge Runner championship. Trystin Bodwell (#56) finished runner-up in the feature and third in points, while Brian Caswell (#47) came home third. Peter Fraser (#37) and Michael Yeaton (#25NH) rounded out the top five.
Mike Comtois (#NH52) was unstoppable on Championship Sunday, taking both the heat race and the 20-lap Six Shooter feature nailing down his first career feature win in the Six Shooters. Michael Yeaton (#NH25) followed closely in second, a finish that officially crowned him the 2025 Six Shooter track champion. Michael Casey (#57) grabbed the final podium spot, with Joshua Brigham (#23NH) and Scotty Blanchard (#MA56) completing the top five.
In one of the most competitive races of the afternoon, Shayla Kirk (#71) led wire-to-wire to take the Pure Stock feature win, but the championship battle went to Adrian Smith (#97), who finished second in the feature to secure the 2025 crown. Chris Quin (#76) finished third on the day and fourth in the points standings. Colton Hull (#24) and Mikayla Duval (#14) rounded out the top five in the feature.
Patrick Russell (#59) closed out the Thunder Lights season in style, winning both the heat and feature races. Quinton Perkins (#12) brought home second, while Sophia Charbonnier-Marshall (#S3) and Emily McInnis (#23) finished third and fourth.
