Hudson Speedway Announces Transition Away from NASCAR Sanctioning
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hudson, NH - 1/21/2026 — Hudson Speedway officially announced at the awards banquet that the speedway will no longer operate as a NASCAR-sanctioned racetrack, marking a new chapter in the facility’s long and storied history.
Hudson Speedway would like to sincerely thank NASCAR for the relationship, support, and opportunities provided over the years. NASCAR’s involvement helped shape many competitors, officials, and fans, and that contribution to the track’s legacy will always be appreciated.
As the speedway looks ahead, this transition allows Hudson Speedway to bring its entire racing program completely back in-house. By doing so, track leadership will have greater flexibility to tailor rules, divisions, and special events specifically to the needs of local racers, teams, sponsors, and the surrounding community.
“This decision is about the future,” track management stated. “By bringing everything back in-house, we can focus on affordability, consistency, creativity, and community-driven racing. Our goal is to build a program that reflects who we are as a track and what our racers and fans want moving forward.”
Hudson Speedway remains fully committed to delivering competitive racing, exciting special events, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Additional details regarding rules packages, divisions, and plans for upcoming seasons will be announced in the near future.
The speedway looks forward to this next era and invites racers, fans, and partners to be part of an exciting future built on tradition, innovation, and local pride.
