Hudson Speedway Ends Live Streaming to Bring Fans Back to the Grandstands
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HUDSON, N.H. - 2/15/2026 — Hudson Speedway officials have announced that live streaming of weekly racing events will no longer be offered moving forward. After careful consideration, track management believes the decision will help preserve and strengthen the unmatched atmosphere of live short track racing.
“We understand the pros and cons of streaming,” said General Manager John Esburnett. “The good part is fans can watch from home. The bad part is fans can watch from home.”
Hudson Speedway has long been known for its electric in-person experience — the rumble of engines, the smell of racing fuel, the roar of the crowd, and the close-up action that can only be felt from the grandstands. Track officials believe that encouraging fans to attend in person will help support teams, build community, and preserve the traditions that make grassroots racing special.
“We want fans to come out and experience the great sport of short track racing live and in person at one of the best racing facilities in the country — right in their own backyard,” Esburnett added.
Hudson Community Television, along with other media outlets, will continue to be on site capturing the action. Race footage and highlights will still be made available online a few days after each event, allowing fans to relive the excitement while maintaining the integrity of the live race day experience.
Fans can mark their calendars now as Hudson Speedway’s Opening Day is set for May 3rd. The weekend kicks off early, as fans are invited to join us on May 2nd for the first edition of Hudson Speedway’s monthly car show series, a new addition designed to bring the community together and celebrate automotive culture at the speedway.
Hudson Speedway looks forward to welcoming fans back to the grandstands for another thrilling season of family-friendly entertainment and grassroots racing tradition.
