Hudson International Speedway Promotes Youth Racing with Thunder Lights Division
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hudson, NH - 3/13/2026 — Hudson International Speedway is proud to continue promoting the future of short track racing through its Thunder Lights youth division, welcoming young drivers ages 8–13 to get behind the wheel and experience the thrill of racing in a fun, supportive environment.
The Thunder Lights division is designed specifically as a learning and development class, giving young racers the opportunity to gain experience on the track while building confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for motorsports. Unlike many racing divisions, Thunder Lights will not run for championship points, keeping the focus on fun, learning, and growing as drivers.
This division provides the perfect introduction for kids who are interested in racing, allowing them to develop skills and become comfortable on the track without the pressure of a points battle.
“Our goal with the Thunder Lights program is simple — give young racers a place to start,” said Hudson Speedway management. “We want kids to come out, have fun, learn the basics of racing, and create memories with their families at the speedway.”
The Thunder Lights division represents an important step in building the next generation of racers at Hudson International Speedway. Many of today’s successful drivers started in youth divisions just like this one, learning the fundamentals before moving up through the ranks of local short track racing.
Parents and families interested in getting their child involved in the Thunder Lights program are encouraged to reach out to the speedway for more information about how to get started.
If your child has ever dreamed of driving a racecar, now is the perfect time to get them involved.
