Eagen, Osborne, Quin, Curtis and Whitehill Score Big Wins at Backyard Bash

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hudson, NH - 5/18/2026 - The Backyard Bash at Hudson Speedway delivered in a BIG way this past Sunday, as a packed pit area and an electric crowd set the tone for a full afternoon of action at The Family Fun Track.

Headlining the event was the 50 lap Jim O’Brien Memorial for the NEMA Lites, and it did not disappoint. In a race that came down to the wire, Brayden Eagen parked it in victory lane after an intense battle, holding off Kyle Valeri by just .334 seconds at the line. Jeremy Orszak rounded out the podium after a hard fought 50 laps in one of the most competitive races of the day.

The Ridge Runners kicked off their Triple Threat Series in exciting fashion, with Gage Osborne charging from third to take the win. Jessica Bosowski put together a strong run to finish second, while Cody Boucher completed the podium in third.

In Pure Stock competition, Chris Quin powered from eighth starting position to take the win in impressive fashion. Shayla Kirk continued her strong start to the season with a second-place finish, and Michael Yeaton drove a solid race to round out the top three.

The Crown Vics brought the action as always, with Chris Curtis going wire to wire to pick up the win. Tyler Arnold crossed the line second, while Austin Erickson made a big charge through the field to finish third after starting deep in the pack.

The 603 Mini Cups put on a great show as well, with Kendall Whitehill taking the victory. David Piper finished second and Jason Romprey completed the podium in third after a competitive feature.

From start to finish, the Backyard Bash had something for everyone, and it’s clear that the momentum at Hudson Speedway continues to build week after week.

We do it all again this weekend with a HUGE doubleheader. Racing returns Sunday with a full card of weekly divisions plus the 603 Mini Cups, followed by our first Thrill Show of the season on Memorial Day Monday. Two completely different shows, one massive weekend at The Family Fun Track.
